Job Description:

Optimity Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong understanding of Java programming, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications that are efficient, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are current and competitive
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java and JEE architecture
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
